　　王海萍（1904～1932）原名胡鸾。海南海口人。学生时代开始接受马克思列宁主义，参加中国共产党领导的学生运动。1925年在上海加入中国共产主义青年团，不久转为中国共产党党员。在上海联络海南籍进步学生叶文龙、陈德华等成立“琼崖新青年社”，主编出版《琼崖新青年》，宣传马列主义和反帝反封建的革命思想。1926年回到广州，在国民革命军第四军工作。后参加了“八一”南昌起义，随军南征，起义军于潮汕失利后受命到福建漳州任中共闽南临时特委委员，同年12月任中共福建临时省委执行委员兼宣传部长。1929年5月任中共福建省委常委、省军事部长兼农民部长，不久任省委军委书记。1931年1月任中共福建省委书记，后因叛徒出卖，省委机关遭严重破坏，脱险后前往上海汇报情况。同年中共厦门中心市委成立，任市委书记兼军事部长。1932年6月，由于叛徒告密，在厦门被捕英勇就义。
